Four to seven pounds of fleece can be sheared from an alpacaevery year. Usually shearing does not begin until an animal is four years old.

We have been involved in all seven Peruvian importations. Our offering of Peruvian, full Accoyo, and colored Suri Alpaca genetics — from white to gray to black to maroon — is the hallmark of our business. For the spinners we have a large selection of colors to chose from too. Many of our fleeces go to show competition too and have been awarded ribbons for their qualities. We sell raw fiber in ounces, pounds, or entire blankets off the animal. We will monitor the pregnant alpaca throughout the day and over an intercom system throughout the night for the four week window around her due date (+/- 2 weeks of the due date). This being when they give birth normally. We will know right away if she's having trouble.
